Private One-on-One Sessions
Our private session service provides the ultimate in personalized training. We work with you and your dog in settings that are part of your daily routine, such as your home, neighborhood, parks, or even pet-friendly stores. By conducting training in familiar environments, we address real-life scenarios where obedience is essential, such as walking calmly on a leash, listening to commands around distractions, and practicing proper behavior in public. These sessions are designed to tackle specific behavioral issues, such as jumping, leash-pulling, lack of obedience, and reactivity, all while giving your dog the attention and structure needed to succeed. At CKC we believe in building a strong foundation of trust and obedience so that your dog is well-behaved and confident in any situation.
Group Classes
Our group class service is designed to reinforce the training your dog has already learned in a real-world setting, surrounded by a community of CKC Training clients who share the same goals. These classes are exclusive to our clientele, meaning every dog and owner has gone through the same foundational training. Each dog is under control, and the group setting allows for continued practice of obedience and socialization in various environments, including stores, lakes, and parks. This ensures your dog remains well-behaved no matter where you go. These classes offer a safe, structured way for your dog to practice learned skills while engaging with fellow trained dogs.
We've been holding these community classes for over 3 years, and we're now averaging 30+ dogs per class, giving your dog plenty of opportunity to socialize and maintain their progress. Joining the CKC Training Community means ongoing support for both you and your dog as you continue to build trust, obedience, and freedom in all environments.
Trainer Days
The Trainer Day service is a flexible and hands-on approach where your dog spends an entire day under the guidance of our professional trainer. During this intensive day of training, your dog will receive one-on-one instruction, focusing on obedience, socialization, and behavior modification. Trainer Days are perfect for busy owners who want their dog to get extra attention and training while they’re at work or running errands. This service is tailored to your dog’s individual needs, whether they require basic obedience training or more advanced behavior correction. At the end of the service, you’ll receive a full report on your dog’s progress, along with tips and exercises to continue the obedience training at home.
Board & Train Program
Our Board and Train Program is designed for owners who want comprehensive, around-the-clock training for their dogs. Your dog will stay in our home for an immersive training experience, where they will learn and practice obedience, manners, and behavior modification in a structured and supervised environment. Over the course of several weeks, your dog will receive consistent training in real-world situations, such as walking in public, interacting with other dogs, and obeying commands in a variety of settings. This program is ideal for dogs with more complex behavioral issues or those who need intensive training in a shorter time frame. Upon completion of the Board and Train Program, we will provide you with detailed instructions and support to ensure that the training continues at home. This service not only transforms your dog’s behavior and obedience but also strengthens the bond between you and your pet.
Service Dog Training
Introducing the newest CKC service, Service Dog Training, it is designed to help dogs perform select tasks that assist individuals with specific needs using high obedience. Whether you require a service dog to provide physical support, alert you to certain conditions, or perform other important tasks, our service dog training focuses on building a strong relationship of trust, obedience and reliability between you and your service dog. Each service dog’s training plan is tailored to the individual service required for your lifestyle. We emphasize positive reinforcement techniques to ensure your service dog has the obedience, confidence, capability, and readiness to help you navigate daily challenges. Please note, the CKC service dog training is only available for select tasks based on individual assessment.
Demo Dogs for Reactivity Work
At CKC Training, we understand that dealing with dog reactivity can be challenging, especially in public settings. To help your dog overcome these issues, we incorporate my personal demo dogs into the training process. These high obedience, calm service dogs serve as role models, helping your dog learn how to behave appropriately around other dogs, even in stressful or distracting environments. By training alongside my demo dogs, your dog will gain the obedience, confidence and control needed to handle encounters with untrained, often reactive dogs, setting them up for long-term success and obedience in public spaces.
